Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare might be getting the popular Gun Game mode soon.
Sledgehammer Games’ head developer, Michael Condrey, has taken to twitter to promptly tease us with the fan-favorite mode. While there is no confirmation yet for a release, Condrey tweeted the loading screen of a private game the studio was throwing for its employees.
Slow news day. If you were at the studio you could play some #AdvancedWarfare with us. pic.twitter.com/5yJ8bKdBkv

Popularized by games such as Counter-Strike, Gun Game is an online mode in which players all begin with the same low level weapon. However, after killing another player, you receive an upgrade in the chain of weaponry. The first player to get a kill with the final weapon comes out on top.
In some cases players with enough experience can last the entire game without being killed.
