Harmonix is conducting a new survey on Rock Band. You can take the survey on Survey Monkey and have some sort of input on a future Rock Band title.

According to the survey, the new Rock Band will be available on new-gen consoles, and maybe even the Wii U. It also akses how important online or local play is to you, or if you’d like to see backwards compatibility for DLC and instruments.

The Latest Rock Band title is the free-to-play Rock Band Blitz for Xbox 360 and PS3, which was released in 2012. Since then Harmonix has occasionally hinted that it still has “grand plans” for the franchise, though no real plan for its future was revealed so far. DLC support for the 2010 game Rock Band 3 was officially discontinued in April 2013. However, we did receive a new batch of songs for the title earlier this month. Coincidence? Probably.

A new Rock Game would be nice, especially with new and improved instruments. I kinda miss gathering with friends in front of the TV and poorly jamming to the sounds of classic and modern rock titles. What do you think? Could this be the re-birth of the rhythm and music genre?
