Ready to die again? Bandai Namco, evil masterminds behind the Dark Souls franchise, have announced Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin. Not just a re-release for current generation, this version will be on-par with other “Definitive” remasters as it includes a lot of features not available in the first incarnation of the game.
Apart from the usual DLC incorporation we’ve come to expect from generation-upgrade releases, Scholar of the First Sin will also have a multitude of gameplay tweaks and balance improvements. Although short on the specifics, we’re promised additional NPCs and improvements to item description, as well as to the game’s match-making system.
PC players are especially fortunate in this release as existing Dark Souls 2 owners will have their game upgraded to support DX11 along with all the other tweaks and improvements.
