Day For Night Games is a new independent studio founded by developers who previously worked on Bioshock and Bioshock Infinite. Now, after Irrational Games closed its doors, the studio has decided to make a game that pushes the boundaries of narrative forward, without all that pesky action.

The Black Glove is that game. It takes place in The Equinox – a 1920’s theater that doesn’t quite follow the laws of time and space. Within this theater, three artists are struggling to bring their art to life, and it is up to the player to help. They will do so by using The Black Glove, a mysterious glove that allows for interaction with what we might call “fourth-dimensional space.”

Travelling through time will let the player change each artist’s past and influence their chosen Medium, Message and Muse – thus changing their art in the present. Each choice will result in a different outcome and a different display. If you want to see everything and soak in the arts, you’ll have to go through the game multiple times.

See the video below for more information on The Black Glove, and head over the the Kickstarter page to help make this game a reality. What kind of a reality is a whole different matter.
