The Evil Within went gold not so long ago, and Bethesda has decided now would be the right time to publish the system requirements for its upcoming horror game The Evil Within.
Recommended PC System Specifications
- 64-bit Windows 7/Windows 8
- i7 with four plus cores
- 4 GBs RAM
- 50 GB of hard drive space*
- GeForce GTX 670 or equivalent with 4GBs of VRAM
- High Speed Internet Connection
- Steam account and activation
As you noticed, no minimum requirements were revealed, which is rather unusual. The reason for this is for gamers to play the game in a manner which Bethesda and developer Tango Gameworks deems the true way to experience the game. So Make sure to have at least 4Gb of ram in your rig.
Also worth noting that the game will require 50Gb of HDD space to install, but after installation will shrink to 41Gb. Make sure to have at least as much HDD space available on your Xbox One and Playstation 4, and 7Gb free for your Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 (you can use a USB 2.0 flash drive on the Xbox 360).
The Evil Within will arrive on October 14.
