Jacob Minkoff and Taylor Kurosaki have left Naughty Dog and jumped ship to Infinity Ward, as both men have announced via their respective Twitter accounts.

Minkoff is best known for being the lead designer on Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception and The Last of Us, as well for designing “Train”, one of the best levels in Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. He has joined Infinity Ward as design director, supposedly for a new Call of Duty: Ghosts project, due sometime in 2016.

Kurosaki, a narrative design lead in Naughty Dog, has left for a similar position in Infinity Ward – once again, to work on the same Call of Duty project together with Minkoff.

This announcement comes after several other big names left Naughty Dog – Amy Hennig (Uncharted series director) has left in March ’13 in favor of Visceral Games to work on a Star Wars project, and Justin Richmond (Uncharted PS4 game director) leaving on the same month to join League of Legends’ studio Riot Games.
