Telltale Games co-founder Kevin Bruner has announced The Walking Dead series will be back for a third season. The announcement was made during Comic-com 2014, and then later on Twitter as well.

No release date or any other details were revealed, but we’ll have a better idea once the second season comes to a close in the next couple of months. The two previous seasons were comprised of five episodes each, so we’re guessing the third season will follow the same pattern.
We are also guessing that it will be released on new-gen consoles, since Telltale has already confirmed both The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us will cross the generation gap.
The fourth episode of Season 2, titled Amid the Ruins, was released last week for PC, consoles and iOS.
