Devolver Digital and Majesco Entertainment have confirmed today that Flying Wild Hog’s reboot of the 90’s FPS classic will be hitting consoles no later than September this year – just a few short months away.

Shadow Warrior on PC was rebooted to a generally favorable response – no cover-based shooting, no silly AI squadmates and most of the weapons from the original are making a comeback, all in beautiful modern graphics.

If you needed further motivation to get the game once it releases on new-gen consoles, the publishers have confirmed a lower price-point as well. Set at 39.99$ in North America, Shadow Warrior is definitely cheaper than other major titles, so there is no excuse not to get it if you haven’t played it on PC yet.
