Destiny will be playable for those attending E3 in June 2014. Developer Bungie has released a new gameplay video, showing about 7 minutes of what we’ll be playing on the show floor. Watch it below.

The video takes place in an area called the House of Devils’ lair, and features two types of enemy factions – the Fallen and the Hive. The two groups don’t seem to have much love for each other, and even less for the three Guardians. We also get a taste of what it’s like to play each of the three Guardian classes: Titan, Warlock and Hunter.

Bungie has also announced that players will be able to keep their game prograss across console generations. So if you started playing Destiny on a last-gen console, you’ll get to keep your character when moving on to either the Xbox One or PS4.

The developer wasn’t clear on whether an Xbox 360 character can be uploaded to a PlayStation 4, saying it is traditionally “restricted by the platforms”. Hopefully we’ll get a full answer by the time the game ships.

Destiny is scheduled for a worldwide release on September 9, on the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4 and PS3.
