Watch Dogs will be released in Q2 2014, according to Ubisoft. In an investor conference call last week, the publisher has confirmed the open-world hacking and stealth title will see the light of day during or the first quarter of the 2015 financial year – anywhere between April and June 2014.
However, it seems that this new release window only applies to the Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360, PS3 and PC versions. Watch Dogs on the Wii U has been delayed even further due to recourse allocation.
Ubisoft told the investors it has “made the difficult decision to further delay the release of Watch Dogs on Wii U to focus the team’s resources where they could have the broadest possible benefit for both our customers and Ubisoft.”
