Kingdom Come: Deliverance, the realistic open-world RPG set in medieval Europe, has come to Kickstarter. Developer Warhorse is asking for £300,000 (or $500,000), and has already raised more than £70,000 in less than a day. Watch the new trailer below to see why.
The year is 1403, and a civil war is threatening to erupt in the kingdom. It’s up to the hero, the son of a blacksmith to avenge the dead, safeguard the kingdom’s rightful ruler, and restore order.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance casts you as either a brave knight, an invisible thief or charming bard – the choice on how to approach any of the many quest is yours.
It was also revealed that the game will be split into 3 acts in order to manage workloads and costs. The first one will be released (hopefully) in early 2015 and will span 30 hours of gameplay.
Check out the game’s Kickstarter page to find out more about and contribute if you like what you see.
