Bolt Riley is a new adventure game by Israel-based studio Adventure Mob. Players take the role of  Bolt Riley – a poor boy from Trenchtown, Jamaica, on his pathway to become a reggae legend.

Young Bolt is struggling to survive in the harsh reality of his hometown. After he discovers Reggae music, he sets on a journey of self discovery, of love, friendship, and inspiration in the hopes of starting his own band and record his own reggae music. Each of the game’s three chapters deal with a different aspect of Bolt Riley’s passage into becoming a Reggae legend.

This 2D adventure game features hand-drawn environments and animations, wacky inventory and dialog puzzles and a rope (no adventure game is complete without one).

If all that isn’t enough for you to get excited, Bolt Riley also features the talent of Lori and Corey Cole – the couple who created the legendary Quest for Glory series.

Adventure Mob has turned to Kickstarter in order to get the funds they need to complete the game ($120,000 to be exact), so if you like what you read – why not contribute? The game is also trying to get Greenlit on Steam, so that’s another way your can help. Be sure to watch the pitch video below.
