Rockstar’s long-dormant Agent has shown weak signs of life last week, when Take-Two renewed two trademarks for the game. The trademarks refer to the Agent name and logo (the one seen above).

Agent was first announced back in 2009 as a PS3 exclusive, but we haven’t heard anything about it since. It was described as a “paranoid journey into the world of counter-intelligence, espionage and political assassinations during the height of the Cold War at the end of the 1970’s.”

Rockstar is now working on GTA V (like I need to remind you), and has not confirmed any future projects. Still, Agent may very well be a next-gen game just waiting to be re-announced.
