Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number was announced by developer Dennaton Games and publisher Devolver Digital as the “brutal conclusion to the gruesome saga”.
Wrong Number will put players in the shoes of multiple distinct characters, each one belonging to a faction born from the blood-soaked events of the original Hotline Miami.Two of these factions are “The Fans”, a group of thugs who wear animal masks and terrorize the streets, and a bunch of movie geeks filming a slasher B movie about Jacket and his killing spree.
This being a sequel and a series finale, Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number will feature more animations, gore, weapons, locations and a “powerfully intense soundtrack”, as well as a more defined plot.
Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number will release later this year on the PC, Mac and Linux.
