Multiple reports suggest that the Australian-based studio Team Bondi (L.A. Noire) has been let go by its parent company Kennedy Miller Mitchell, and that all work on Whore of the Orient has been put on hold.

The reason behind this move seems to be Team Bondi’s failure to find a publisher for its new game. Warner Bros. was named as publisher at first, but than dropped the game in December of last year. Just keep in mind the studio has yet to be officially closed, and Whore of the Orient is not necessarily cancelled.

You’ll keep you updated on the ultimate fate of both the studio and the game as more news become available. Meanwhile, why not play L.A. Noire a third time?
