A new, rather disturbing trailer for Bioshock Infinite was released today by 2K Games. Seriously, it made me feel a little uncomfortable watching it. It’s just so… eerie. See it below for yourselves.
The trailer is a sort of documentary about the floating city of Columbia, where the game takes place. The calm, reassuring voice of the narrator reveals the history of the city, from it’s foundation in 1893 to its secession from the United States and eventual disappearance.
The most disturbing part of the video is the references to mysterious events that took place in 1981. Does it mean Columbia is still out there even after the game ends, or is the game taking place in a much later time period than we originally thought? Curious.
All our questions will be answered (hopefully) when Bioshock Infinite releases on March 26.
