Back in 2005 EA and Marvel started working together on a series of fighting gamesm featuring Marvel’s well known characters (this is way before Marvel vs. Capcom 3, yes?). The only game we saw from this union was Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects that came out on the PSP that same year.
Today an artist from EA Chicago (Def Jam), that worked on another game born from this collaboration, posted some of the assets online. You can see the screenshots and short video below, but there isn’t a whole lot to see. It seems like this unnamed Marvel title was another fighting game with Spider-man, The Hulk and Captain America as playable characters and several game modes.
It is all very similar to what Capcom ended up doing with Marvel vs. Capcom 3, so maybe Marvel decided to change partners mid-project or something. I guess we;ll never know for sure.
