Surprise! Total War: Rome 2 will have Romans in it! Rome will be a playable faction in the latest entry in the famous Total War strategy series. This new and exciting information was revealed today by Sega, as part of the company’s intention of revealing all the game’s playable factions in the coming months.
“Representing key powers within the Greco-Roman, Barbarian, and Eastern cultures, every faction features its own agents and political system, and three tech trees representing civic, military and engineering disciplines,” reads the announcement.
“Each will have its own dilemmas to face and different styles of army to manage. Certain factions – such as Rome – are split into a number of playable families, which bring further unique benefits to their base faction traits.”
Total War: Rome 2’s quest for conquest will begin October 2013 on PC everywhere.
