Talking with Polygon, Ubisoft’s CEO Yves Guillemot has confirmed that despite the year-long silence, Rainbow Six: Patriots is still in development, and is probably headed for next-gen consoles.

“The only thing I can say is that we have a good team working on it, and it’s really looking good,” Guillemot told the site. “So when it will come, it will surprise the industry.” When asked about the possibility of the game being a next-gen title, Guillemot simply said “there’s a good chance it can be.”

It’s been a while since we heard anything about Rainbow Six: Patriots, so just to refresh your memory, here’s the game’s debut trailer.
