Rumors claim that Capcom has decided to cancel Mega Man Online (known also as Rockman Online in Japan), an MMORPG based in the world of Mega Man being developed by South Korea’s NeoWiz.
The rumors started when the game’s main lead artist Kang Dong Hwa (aka Cantio75) posted a bunch of concept art pieces of environments and objects he drew for Mega Man Online. According to fan site The MM Network, this indicates that the game is no longer in development (that, and the fact we haven’t heard anything about it for almost a year).
Nither Capcaom or NeoWiz have confirmed or denied the rumor, but the site claims in “inside source” has told them the team working on Rockman Online has “disbanded”. Watch the pretty pictures below.
