Namco Bandai has confirmed that the console version of the PC-enhanced Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition will be arriving October 26, specifically on the Xbox 360 and PS3.
This new version has tons of new content (around 10 hours worth) with new bosses, enemies, areas, weapons, NPCs – all set in a new timeline happening a 100 years before the original game. Speak of which, if you have the original Dark Souls, you’ll be able to grab just the added content via the “Artorias of the Abyss” pack for 15 bucks.
The PC version of Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition was released August 24, and is now available on Steam. Here is the game’s launch trailer, in case you skipped it.
