Sam Lake, Remedy Entertainment creative director, has posted a mysterious new tweet that seem to indicate a new Alan Wake game might be announced soon.

“It’s all true. ‘It will happen again, in another town, a town called Ordinary.’ It’s happening now.” reads the tweet. While it could pretty much mean anything, Lake also provided a link to a  blog titled “The House of Dreams” written by Samantha (Sam?).

This blog is filled with imagery taken straight out of Wake’s dark world, but the most obvious connection to Alan Wake is a poem that appears in the original game itself. There is definitely something stirring beneath the dark waters of Cauldron Lake.

Another indication that an Alan Wake sequel is in the works comes from NeoGAF. It seems Remedy has updated its “alanwake2.com” domain a few days ago, farther suggesting an official announcement is soon to come.

The original Alan Wake was first released for the Xbox 360 in 2010, followed by a PC version earlier this year. Alan Wake’s American Nightmare, a new entry in the franchise, was also released a few months ago on the Xbox 360 and PC.
