Ubisoft has announced the new Splinter Cell: Blacklist during Microsoft’s E3 press event today, confirming early rumors about the game.

In the stage demo we saw Sam, now voiced but someone other than Michael Ironside, infiltrating a desert compound of a terrorist organization called “Blacklist”.

Returning from Splinter Cell: Conviction is the “Mark and Execute” gameplay mechanic, only now it’s faster and more flaunt. The game will also feature Kinect voice support for issuing commands to other operatives or luring armed guards into an ambush.

In addition to the single-payer campaign, Blacklist also sees the return of competitive multiplayer mode “Spies Vs Mercs”, and will feature co-op play as well.

Splinter Cell: Blacklist is set to release Spring 2013. You can watch the stage demo below.
