The young Lara Croft, who apparently hates tombs, is back with a first gameplay trailer for the Tomb Raider reboot. This is the game’s first public appernace ever since its reveal back in E3 2011.
The big news, apart from the actual trailer, is the announcement of a brand new release date for the game, after it’s delay to Q1 of 2013. Tomb Raider is now set for launch on March 5, 2013 for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
Go right ahead and watch the trailer below. It’s incredibly intense. The first part shows what we’ve already seen in last year’s demonstration, but it soon changes to some new footage of Lara getting her butt handed to her by a bunch of bad people.
We’ll see more of the game at Microsoft’s E3 presser on Monday.
Thanks to Pixel Enemy for the trailer.
