2K Games has announced their action-strategy game XCOM: Enemy Unknown to be release October 9 in North America, and October 12 worldwide.
Those who choose to pre-order the game for the Xbox 360, PS3 or PC will get the Elite Soldier Pack which includes a classic character from the original XCOM, two soldier armor kits – the Hyperion and Reaper, and full color customization for all armor sets in the game.
2K has also announced the game’s special edition, available only on PCs. This game edition will contain the full game (obviously), an art book, fold-out poster, XCOM insignia patch, desktop wallpaper, soundtrack and more.
If that’s not enough, there is a new “behind the scenes” video showing off the XCOM base. XCOM: Enemy Unknown will launch this October on the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
