Sega has announced the official release date for Gearbox’s Aliens: Colonial Marines to be February 12, 2013. This date doesn’t quite fall within the previous release window of fall 2012, so consider this is a delay announcement.
The new official release date only applies to the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC versions of the game, but the publisher has already said it will reveal the release date for the Wii U version at a later date (probably after Nintendo’s press conference at E3).
To sweeten the sour taste of delay, Sega has also released a brand new trailer for the game, made entirely of in-game footage – watch it below. Aliens: Colonial Marines will hit the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on February 12, with a Wii U version to follow.
