Darksiders 2 has been pushed back from its original June release date to August 14 in North America. The European new release date is also in August, but no exact date has given. Brian Farrell, THQ CEO, has referred to this delay as a “demonstration of our commitment to quality”.

Darksiders 2 was originally supposed to launch at the end of June, so this means we’ll have to wait almost two additional months to get our hands on Death’s scythe.

At least we’ll have something to play in the dry months of summer, when usually not a lot of games come out.
