Valve representative Doug Lombardi has told Joystiq that Valce has no special announcements planned for this year’s E3. “We have no product announcements planned for this year’s show,” said Lombardi, thus officially putting a stop to any rumors about anything Half Life 3 related.
This report also confirms an e-mail exchange between Gabe Newell and a fan, published over at Valvetime.net, where Gabe claims the company will focus only on products already announced.
“We are not announcing anything at E3. Really,” he said. “We are not announcing Half-Life 3 or Portal 3 or Left 4 Dead 3. We are going to be showing stuff everyone already knows about (CS:Go, Dota 2, 10′ UI)”.
This, of course, doesn’t mean anything… Valve has made it a habit to lie to us about it’s E3 presentation, so nothing is set in stone for the moment. E3 will take place June 5-7 in the city of LA, and GamesPack reports will do their very best to bring you all the big news from the convention, including Valve’s line-up.
