Game Informer magazine has lived up to its promise earlier this week and posted three in-game screenshots from Naughty Dog’s (Uncharted series) upcoming PS3 exclusive The Last of Us. The zombie-apocalypse action game sure looks nice and very colourful compering to other games in the genre, but how does it actually play?
According to the magazine, combat is mixed between melee and ranged fighting, with weapons falling apart after continuous use, forcing the player to constantly be on the look out for new items. The A.I companion, Ellie, is apparently smart enough to keep up with the player without getting in the way, so The Last of Us isn’t just one big escort mission. Oh, and at least parts of it take place in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
