Afer many delays and false information, Konami has finally announced official release dates for its up-coming Silent Hill trio, all of which are in March.

First of all we have Silent Hill HD Collection, coming March 6 on the XBOX 360 and PS3. This is a re-mastered version of Silent Hill 2 & 3 in HD graphics and new voiceovers. Then, on March 13, we have Silent Hill: Downpour for the XBOX 360 and PS3 as well. Downpour is a new installment in the series star Murphy Pendleton – an escaped convict who finds himself trapped in the town of Silent Hill.

And finally, Silent Hill Book of Memories opens up March 27, exclusively on the PS Vita. This too is a whole new game in the series, where friends can experience the horror together via mulitplayer.

It appears that March is going to be a very exciting month for all you horror fans out there, and mark the return of the classic survival-horror franchise to the mainstream consciousness.
