Brendan McNamara, the man behind Team Bondi’s ambitious L.A. Noire, has joined with director George Miller (Mad Max, Happy Feet) to develop his next game: Whore of the Orient. What’s the game about? no idea, but we do know McNamara has described it as “one of the great untold stories of the 20th century”.
The website Kotaku points out that “Whore of the Orient” was an alias for the Chinese city of Shanghai back in the early decades of the 20th century, which could suggest the game’s location and settings, but not a particular untold story. In any case, it is possible we will see the same groundbreaking MotionScan facial animation L.A. Noire featured, since McNamara owns the company behind it – Depth Analysis.
