2K Games have confirmed that Spec Ops: The Line, their new military third-person shooter, will be released early 2012 around springtime. With this announcement came a brand new trailer, showing some very dramatic footage of a destroyed Dubai. In addition to the trailer, we also bring you a bunch of new screenshots from the game, showing some combat and the beautiful ruins of the once great city.
For those who haven’t been following Spec Ops in the last few years, the game puts the player in the shoes of Captain Walker, an american Delta Force soldier sent to Dubai to rescue a squad of soldiers trapped in the city after a huge sandstorm devours it.
Specs Ops: The Line will be available on the XBOX 350, PS3 and the PC sometime during spring 2012.
