In an exclusive interview for Official PlayStation Magazine, the legendary game developer Hideo Kojima clearly states that Metal Gear Solid 5 is indeed a reality, and that his part in the actual developing process is somewhat limited. “I think we’ll probably have to make it (MGS5) at some point, but what that will be, we have no idea” said Kojima when asked about the future of the series. “As far as my involvement in the project is concerned, [it] probably won’t be as much as it was with MGS1 – maybe I can do just one stage”.
Kojima is now working on a mysterious new project codenamed “Project Ogre”, which will be detailed in the 65th issue of OPM, alongside the full interview, in the 29th of November.
