Konami released a set of screenshots from Silent Hill: Downpour, the latest title in the classic horror games series. The screenshot are indeed pretty, but they don’t much remind me of the iconic surroundings featured in the previous games. Personally, I feel that they remind me a bit of the 2010 horror game, Alen Wake.
Downpour follows Murphy Pendleton, a convict that escapes after the bus in which he was being transported flips and leaves him stranded in the woods outside the town of Silent Hill. Previous reports tell us that water will have a significant role in the eighth tile in the series, which is planned to be released on XBox 360 and PS3 towards the end of the year.
