Seems that the Battlefield 3 fan base failed their latest mission, to recruit a million fans to the Facebook page of the game before the scheduled release, and the 12 minutes long, promised trailer, was released on various sites now as originally planned. Contrary to the expectations of many of the fans, the newly released trailer reveals almost nothing we haven’t already seen but mostly is only a compilation of all the trailers we’ve seen so far. That said, it seems that to some of the scenes a few extra, never before seen, seconds have been added.
The Battlefield 3 Facebook page still promises that once it receives a million likes, a commentary version of the just released trailer, done by the game’s producer, will be released.
Battlefield 3 is expected to be released during autumn of 2011 to the PC, PS3 and XBox 360
