Rime, the beautiful indie puzzle adventure, is no longer a PS4 exclusive, just as we suspected a few months ago. The game will now launch on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Switch in May 2017.
Alongside these wonderful news (for lovers of puzzle adventure without a PS4 at least), publisher Grey Box has released a new trailer, showing just how the game looks today. It’s not much different from when we first saw it in 2014, but perhaps its even more pretty now.
In case you don’t remember much about Rime, developer Tequila Works has provided us with a short description of the game. The single-player puzzle adventure is about “discovery, experienced through the eyes of a young boy who awakens on a mysterious island after shipwrecking off its coast.” Players will solve puzzles using light, sound perspective and even time in beautiful environments inspired by the “sunbaked terrain of the Mediterranean coast.”
You can now pre-order a physical retail copy of Rime for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
