If you were hoping to play Mass Effect Andromeda on your brand new Switch this year, we have some bad news for you. While we already know the game will be available on current gen consoles, and even the PS4 Pro, there’s little change BioWare will be bringing it to Nintendo’s Switch.
When asked about the possibility of seeing Andromeda on the Switch, BioWare’s Michael Gamble told Stevivor, “We’re not planning on it. If the Switch launches and everyone’s just yammering for Mass Effect, who knows.”
“We never want to close doors like that,” he concluded.
Gamble also mentioned the studio has “absolutely no plans” for a Project Scorpio release, though that’s to be expected as the console was not officially revealed yet.
Mass Effect Andromeda will come out in March 2017, on the PC, PS4 and Xbox One.Some of our posts include links to online retail stores. We get a small cut if you buy something through one of our links. Don't worry, it doesn't cost you anything extra.
